WOW – WELCOME TO THE FUTURE OF READING5
After reading reviews for a couple of months, I finally ordered my Kindle two weeks ago & have become a true believer in the technology. Just superb. The reading is very easy on the eyes, the ability to change font sizes, in fact everything about it is great except for one item which I will get to later.

Pros – In no particular order:
1 – Ease of Use – Absolutely simple to use
2 – Size & Weight – Can carry it around anywhere & it is extremely light.
3 – Ability to Download books in under a minute
4 – Price of most new releases are $9.99
5 – Amazon Customer Service
6 – Dictionary Lookup
7 – Free Books available at many different web sites
8 – Can literally carry around hundreds of books
9 – No more need to worry about where to store all my books already read

Cons:
1 – I wish there was more content on current releases
(However I am sure this will take care of itself in the future)

What bothers me about some of the reviews is that buyers complain about 1 or 2 items but do not praise the amazing things that the Kindle does.

Is the cover perfect – Of course not (But it is not all that bad)

Can you hit page ahead by accident -Of course you can (But it is not all that bad)

Basically, on a scale of 1-100, I would give it a 98.

Trust me, if you are an avid reader, do yourself a favor & get one. You will not regret it for one moment.

In fact, I am going on a trip to China in late June & at first the 15 hour flight gave me boredom nightmares, but now I have my Kindle & am no longer stressed. Or should I say a little less stressed.

Enjoy.

I’m hooked!5
The Kindle is amazing! Portable, easy to use and to handle, the Kindle has revolutionized my reading. It is so wonderful that I have difficulty with regular hardback or paperback books. I have not yet tried the newspapers but I am sure I will be hooked on those, too. This is much better than e books on a PDA. which always have problems at the download stage. Having the Kindle is like being at the library or the bookstore wherever you are – in traffic, at the beach, in line at the grocery or at work during a break or in the middle of the night when you cannot sleep. I love it.

Kindle does the job4
I can’t say this is the fanciest device in the world, but it probably is one of the most usable ones for reading material. Simple, fast, easy – that is the kindle. Of course, I just bought one a month ago and they lowered the price right after that – DO YOU HEAR AMAZON, I SHOULD GET THE DIFFERENCE. Everything else on the reader works and works well. I use it every day to catch up on material. The battery life is excellent. The screen is easy on the eyes and readable in all lighting conditions. I live out in the woods, so the choice of wireless networks for the kindle was ridiculous. Spotty coverage even in the major towns I travel to. AMAZON – AT&T is not just a better network but actually works. You get what you pay for when you choose a cheap network. All in all, I say this device is a practical choice that will be used daily more than you think it wil.
